Held on the first Saturday of every month at Shannon Reserve on Crown Street, it brings together 60+ unique stalls specialising in handmade, second-hand and recycled goods - true to the spirit its founders intended. Organised by the Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre, the market was originally set up to give local low-income earners the chance to earn extra income through trading in recycled and handmade goods, and that community-first ethos remains at its heart today.
