About this market

Run by the South Australian Produce Market on its Pooraka grounds, this Sunday market brings farm fresh produce and bric-a-brac together in a fully undercover space. It is a no-frills, early-start market for shoppers who like to beat the crowds and fill the boot with fruit and veg, then browse tables of secondhand finds and plants. A cafe keeps the coffee coming, and buskers often play along the aisles. It feels more like a bustling trading floor than a boutique farmers market, and many shoppers still carry cash.
