About this market

Set along the sweeping, heritage-listed High Street of Rushworth - declared an Urban Conservation Area of Special Significance by the National Trust - the Rushworth Monthly Market brings together a relaxed mix of local stallholders against a backdrop of 19th-century ironbark buildings, wide verandas and the Village Green. Run entirely by volunteers through the Rushworth Easter Heritage Festival Committee, the market draws both regular and casual stallholders selling antiques and collectables, handmade and artisan goods, fresh produce, bric-a-brac, plants, clothing and food. It's a genuine community gathering in a small gold-rush town 181 km north of Melbourne, and a natural companion to exploring the 'Walk Through Time' heritage trail that winds along the same street.
