Held just outside the historic Pyree School classroom that has been home to Shoalhaven Potters Inc since 1973, this monthly community market is organised and run entirely by volunteers of the not-for-profit pottery association. The mix of stalls is genuinely eclectic - local produce, ceramics and pottery, arts and crafts, woodwork, needlecraft, natural fibre baskets, plants, cakes, jams and clothing sit side by side, making it a real treasure hunt in a quiet rural setting. Food and drinks are available on the day, dogs are welcome, and the whole event has the warm, unhurried feel of a market rooted in genuine community craft culture rather than commercial production.
