Portarlington Market

Proudly managed by the Lions Club of Portarlington/Drysdale, Portarlington Market brings together more than 160 stalls on W.G. Little Reserve - a beautifully situated foreshore reserve sandwiched between the town's main street and the Portarlington Harbour. Spectacular Port Phillip Bay views form the backdrop as visitors browse a wide-ranging mix of craft, handmade jewellery, fashion, plants, fresh fruit and vegetables, woodwork, fishing gear, tools, 3D-printed items and much more. The food court offers a variety of sit-down eat-and-drink options, and the lawns are perfect for spreading a blanket, grabbing a bite and listening to a busker. Families are especially well catered for: a nature-inspired playground complete with climbing structures, swings, water features and a flying fox is integrated into the market site, as is a skatepark. Running from September through to April each year, the market is widely regarded as the largest, busiest and most picturesque market on the Bellarine Peninsula.
