Held on the third Saturday of each month, the Newington Pop Up Markets bring a curated mix of local makers, creators and small businesses to the forecourt of Newington Marketplace - a neighbourhood shopping centre with a unique Olympic legacy. How do I book a stall?
Stall sites are $40 per market or $90 for three consecutive months. Contact the organisers at newingtonmarkets@arkadia.com.au to book. Positions are only confirmed once full payment is received.
What do vendors need to bring?
All vendors must provide their own 3m x 3m gazebo (plain white preferred), display equipment such as tables and racks, and must manage their own rubbish removal. Gazebos must be secured with 10kg weights per leg - no pegs, water weights or sand bags.
Is there parking at Newington Marketplace?
Yes - over 180 car parking spaces are available on site, with free parking for the first 2 hours.
How do I get there by public transport?
Bus routes 525 and 526 service Newington Marketplace, running every 15 minutes. The centre is also close to Sydney Olympic Park via Holker Street.
