About this market

Mullumbimby Farmers Market is Mullum at its colourful best - a not-for-profit weekly gathering set under magnificent fig trees in the lush foothills of Mt Chincogan at the historic Mullumbimby Showgrounds. Running since April 2010 and operated by the North Byron Farmers Market Association, it has grown from a simple fresh-produce hub into one of the Northern Rivers' most loved community institutions, combining a genuine farm-direct food market with a social heartbeat. Stallholders are local growers and producers who sell directly to customers, offering everything from certified organic fruit and vegetables to artisan foods, seedlings, fermented goods, heirloom varieties, ethical meats, and smallgoods that are hard to find commercially. The market is a not-for-profit organisation, so every dollar spent goes back into supporting local farmers, the community, and a more sustainable food future.
