About this market
Set beneath the City of Sydney's giant Christmas tree in the heart of the CBD, the Martin Place Christmas Markets are part of the Sydney Christmas program and are run by Cambridge Markets. The 55 stalls focus on what the city shops don't have: unique gifts, handmade pieces and one-off treasures, alongside gourmet food and festive treats. Saturdays bring free workshops such as Christmas wreath making, a cooking-with-leftovers class, a kids' sewing session with Slogue and Christmas card decorating with The Social Outfit. With live music, carols ringing through Martin Place and a visit from Santa, it works as a lunchtime gift run or a full evening of festive cheer in the city.
