About this market

Held across three days each November at Lindesay - a stunning 1834 Gothic Revival harbourside villa in Darling Point - the Lindesay Christmas Gift Fair is the National Trust (NSW) Women's Committee's much-loved annual fundraiser, now in its 24th year. Stalls spill through the historic house, the cellar, and the picturesque garden, offering quality linens, jewellery, clothing, and gourmet foods in a setting that rivals any in Sydney. Lunch, morning tea, and afternoon tea are served in the courtyard or beneath the shade of old plane trees, making it as much a leisurely outing as a shopping trip. A fundraising raffle runs throughout, and Santa visits from 11am to 2pm on Saturday for family photos. All proceeds go directly to the care and protection of Lindesay. A free shuttle bus connects Edgecliff Station to the venue from 9:30am to 4pm (break noon to 1pm), making it easy to arrive without a car.
