Lal Lal Market

Held in the small township of Lal Lal each spring since 2013, this annual country market is a not-for-profit celebration of local produce, crafts and good food, run entirely by local volunteers. Stalls spill from the Soldiers Memorial Hall onto the grounds outside, offering produce, sweets, plants, woodwork and handmade crafts, while the Lal Lal Primary School Car Boot Sale adds a bargain-hunting edge. Beyond the stalls it feels like a proper country day out, with local music, raffles, community groups, a shearing demonstration and a CFA demonstration, plus pony rides, a mobile farm and face painting for the kids. Funds raised go straight back into supporting and enhancing the local community.
