Mitchelton markets cancelled The final market scheduled for Easter Sunday, 5 April will no longer proceed. This decision has been carefully considered. Due to the Easter holiday period, a number of stallholders will be taking time off, and as a result, we are unable to present the full market experience. More broadly, the decision to close the Mitchelton Market permanently has not been made lightly. Rising operational costs, particularly the increasing expense of road closures, especially on public holidays, mean the event is no longer financially sustainable after 17 years of operation. We understand this may be disappointing and sincerely apologise that we are unable to deliver a final event on this date. Thank you for your continued support of the Mitchelton Market.
