About this market

Run by the Forster Neighbourhood Centre, Forster Farmers Market brings growers and home producers from the MidCoast and neighbouring regions together on a council reserve beside the Forster Courthouse. The focus is fresh, local and made close to home: seasonal fruit and vegetables, eggs, pure honey and plants share the space with gourmet sauces, jams and preserves. The market began life as the Great Lakes Great Produce Market. It started out in the Forster High School Hall and later moved to the Forster Information Centre grounds before settling into its current home. It's a relaxed, community-minded morning shop for locals and visitors to Forster-Tuncurry who want to stock up on regional produce and meet the people who grow and make it.
