Canberra's annual countdown to Christmas takes over the Quokka Building at Exhibition Park for one weekend, filling it with gifts, decorations, specialty goods and gourmet foods that you won't find in the usual shopping centre aisles. It's designed as a one-stop shop for ticking off the Christmas list, from stocking fillers to more unusual present ideas, with plenty of seasonal treats to graze on along the way. Being fully indoors makes it an easy family outing whatever the late-November weather does, just a short hop from the city. The market is run by Canberra Markets, the local team behind the Canberra Fashion Market, Canberra Kids Market and the Three Sixty Fashion Market.
