    About Bellingen Growers Market

A small and intimate village market running for 25 years on volunteer power in the heart of Bellingen. Every Saturday morning (except the third Saturday of the month, when the larger Bellingen Community Markets runs in town), growers, producers and makers gather at the historic showgrounds for a relaxed community morning with live music every market.

Stallholders regularly include native plants and organic seedlings, organic chicken, honey and bee products, coffee, cacao and chai, second-hand books, homemade soaps, fresh bread and pastries, and Indonesian cuisine - alongside the broader mix of seasonal produce and local handmade goods.

Almost! We're open every Saturday morning except the 3rd Saturday of each month, when the larger Bellingen Community Markets runs elsewhere in town.

    What makes this market special?

We've been running for 25 years entirely on volunteer power, creating a small and intimate village market with live music most weekends and a strong focus on supporting local growers and makers.

    What about the Artisans Market?

We also host a special Artisans Market twice a year in June and December, showcasing handmade goods from Mid North Coast artisans. Contact belloartisanmarket@gmail.com for artisan market enquiries.

    Can I bring my dog?

Yes - dogs are welcome on a lead and under control.

Is there parking and accessible facilities?

General parking is on street around the showgrounds. On-site parking is available for disability and accessibility needs. Toilets are available on site.

What can I find at the stalls?

Regular offerings include native plants, organic seedlings, organic chicken, honey and bee products, coffee, cacao and chai, second-hand books, homemade soaps, fresh bread and pastries, Indonesian cuisine, and more from local growers and makers.

What is the wet weather policy?

The market goes ahead with a bit of rain. We only cancel if there is extreme weather or the grounds are unsafe. Stallholders are advised as soon as possible, and notifications are placed on the Bellingen Growers Market Facebook and Instagram pages. Please come prepared for all weather.
