About Ballarat Farmers Market
Long-running farmers market in the beautiful North Gardens Reserve near Lake Wendouree and the Ballarat Botanical Gardens. Operating year-round on the 2nd and 4th Saturday with 80-130+ stalls depending on the season. Stalls include organic and non-organic fruit and vegetables, bread and cakes, meat, cheese, eggs, cider, wine, dry goods, vegetarian baked goods, jam, mushrooms, honey, plants, clothing, gifts and homewares. Winter months (June-August) relocate indoors to the Equestrian Centre at Ballarat Showgrounds. Annual Twilight Christmas Market in December with 250+ stalls. Free stall available for local community groups.
